Learn to navigate through Linux, the most popular operating system for cloud computing. While the major emphasis will be on Linux, this course will equip you with the skills you'll need to integrate the cloud into your Linux system where there are parallels or overlaps with the professional management of deployments on Amazon's AWS architecture.

This 5-week course will teach you about the architecture of the Linux system, boot and package management, the command line, working with text strings, and filesystems in addition to a general overview of Linux. Each session will occur every Saturday and Sunday, 8am - 12pm. This hands-on, introductory course is intended for a wide array of learners: from those with zero programming background to those who have programming background but are looking to shift their careers.

Once done with the course, you will be ready to take on the Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) Exam.
